Our Story – The Heart Behind Home & Blessings

My wife and I were serving in the Kids Ministry at Mariners Church until recently. We had been praying for a child for years — and in God’s perfect timing, we were blessed with our son in March.

Before he arrived, we traveled to the Philippines, my wife’s home country, and had the opportunity to care for orphaned children. It was a one-time trip, but one we’ll never forget. It deepened our desire to serve and reminded us how much love can be given in a short time.

When our son was born at just 34 weeks due to preeclampsia, we were told he might need to stay in the NICU for two weeks. But by God’s grace, he came home in only three days. About a month later, he was hospitalized again for breathing issues — but once again, God carried us through. Today, he’s a strong, joyful little boy, and we’re still in awe of all God has done.

After being laid off from my HR leadership role at ConGlobal last year, I knew I wanted to take that difficult season and turn it into something meaningful. That’s when Home & Blessings was born — a faith-based HR consulting firm built to serve nonprofits, ministries, and people-first businesses with integrity and heart.

We believe our greatest testimony is what God has done in our lives — and we bring that same care, humility, and service into every client relationship.

As a way to give back, I’m offering a full day of HR support completely free — whether that’s help with compliance, hiring, onboarding, training, or stepping in as your HR Director for a day. If I can support your organization or one you care about, I’d be honored.
